might have to make some trades to create room. One of Andersen/Raanta and maybe somebody else is probably not here after the deadline.

I think Anderson will net us the most.  Raanta proved by last years playoffs he is our backup.  Koochie Raanta.  Trade Freddie.

Coghlan was already sent to Chicago and I think they roll with 7 D-men. LaJoie will go back down as well. 

It's the only way to keep 3 goalies on the roster once Anderson returns. Nobody in the league is carrying 3 goalies. And it looks like the Canes will have to until someone is moved.

I’m assuming you mean six defensemen? And just call someone up when needed?

So 14 forwards, 6 defenseman, and 3 goalies? I could see it.

Canes went 11 and 7 against the Isles Saturday night. But that was due to Aho and Fast being down. I could see them with 14/6 or 13/7, holding 3 goalies until someone gets moved.

Maybe they pull a Tampa Bay and LTIR Anderson until the playoffs and ride Raanta and Kochetkov the remainder of the season.

I missed the game they last played. Were the injuries obvious or are we just going to be guessing on when we get two of our best scheme players back?

Aho was sitting Saturday with a ding- nothing serious. Not too sure of Fast's condition, no real mention made during the game.

Fast may be back tomorrow, Aho will not be. RBA doesn’t want to rush either one.
