Some of you know I’ve tried to be more positive about him but this man lacks even a shred of accountability. Good riddance guy….we wish we had chosen a different coach too believe me

Don't worry, Matt.

We wish you never took this job either.

But Tepper is an idiot and gave you a blank check (basically) so you would've been an idiot to turn that down from an even bigger idiot.

Everybody is an idiot in the business side of things of the Panthers.

So let's recap the excuses: Covid (every team dealt with it, own up), No good QBs came out, he wasn't our GM, process wasn't given time, Tepper changed the timeline, just stawwwp.

I mean, he's on video, explaining why HE, HIMSELF, RHULE took pick after pick in year 1 and 2.  Including the fun story about needing a RB and his wife liked Chuba's name.  All right there on Panthers.com.  The nerve of this ass.

Buddy pretty much saying none of the panthers misfortunes were his fault lol.

Man, if you didn’t have your head up your bum or was a super homer, you knew after year 1 that he blew a lot of hot air. If it wasn’t evident after year 1, then mid season 2 it was very apparent. It’s been pretty clear that the NFL was too big for him.

Hard to tell the NFL was too big for him as his GUT challenged the NFL's size on a daily basis.

One symptom of a bad coach, is a coach who burns his bridges. If he happens to want another NFL job sometime in the future, all they need to do is look back and see this statement. I have a feeling Matt Rhule and Matt Corral, probably will get along just fine.

i’m sure the ex coach probably said this, too, erk the panther fan base. However, all it did was reinforce the decision to fire this coach in the first place.

overall,  this is information that an ex employee should always, keep to themselves.  A coach is a high level employee.

You know....I once referred to Sam Darnold as Sam Delusional after that Podcast where he overrated his abilities much to our astonishment (and amusement).

It seems Matt overrates his abilities as a Coach (but we're not amused).

Difference?   Sam, for all his faults, is not a frickin' douchenozzle a$$hole like Matt who throws an ENTIRE ORGANIZATION under the bus.  🤬

FUG YOU, MATT! 🖕

Hope the Nebraska program fails harder than your diet.

His pride is probably hurt that Wilks stepped in, fired some of his boys and the team immediately looked better.

FUG HIS PRIDE!!

Wilks just proved Matt is a Never-will-be (not a Has-been).

I still don't understand what made this guy such a hot coaching commodity for three offseasons. Only one year of NFL experience as an ASSISTANT offensive line coach with a mediocre Giants team. Yeah, he won at Temple. So did Al Golden who preceded him.

He got an interview with the Colts after going 1-11 his first season at Baylor.

Would have got the Jets job, but Jets management demanded he keep Gregg Williams as his DC and not bring in all of his college coaching buddies, so they went with Adam Gase.

Tried to start a bidding war between the Giants and Panthers, but the Giants were smart enough not to engage in that for a college coach.

Three seasons in Carolina, we still don't know what his expertise was. Is he an offense or defensive guy? It's not like he ever did anything innovative. Kliff Kingsbury didn't deserve his job in Arizona, but I can understand why he got it because the league is so thirsty for offense, and he had the Air Raid attack at Texas Tech (crazy to think he couldn't win with Patrick Mahomes).

He really should be thankful for Tepper because his dream job was the Giants, and he would have gotten excoriated daily in that market. Now he can go on this revisionist history media tour and pretty much get no push back because the national media doesn't give a poo about small-market Carolina.
