I'd vote for that, if we can find a way to wedge Hooker in there with them.  Add Corral into the mix and we could wind up like the proverbial blind squirrel.

The arm strength, intelligence and running ability is there but what has impressed me the most is the competitiveness, toughness and leadership. Kind of reminds me of Jake.

I think for a late round pick the potential reward is worth the risk.

Full disclosure... CAL was destroyed that game, but honestly a real good qb would've scored like 7 touchdowns that day. He only scored 5

As an Auburn fan I was never impressed with Nix. He got benched for a game for Finley (who is terrible). Oregon’s system makes him look better than he is IMO.

I would take CJ Stroud with a broken throwing arm and a wooden peg plant leg before I'd even consider taking Bo Nix.  And I would never take a healthy CJ Stroud.

Auburn fan here, there were times where he looked unbeatable at Auburn, but times where he was downright awful. The most alarming thing is he would melt down emotionally during his bad games and you knew there was no chance. 

 

In his defense he had Gus for a coach, who is awful with qb's. But the guy was emotionally volatile. Just not sure I'd be able to trust him. He's also got some accuracy issues. 

Think he could be a decent backup, nothing more.
