Bo Nix

If Bo Nix was available in the 6th or 7th round would you take a shot? I am a Duck fan and have watched pretty much every game and I must say I have been impressed more each game. (I was NOT a fan of the acquisition initially.)

The arm strength, intelligence and running ability is there but what has impressed me the most is the competitiveness, toughness and leadership. Kind of reminds me of Jake.

I think for a late round pick the potential reward is worth the risk.

Somebody will pick him later and he could surprise.  He has been outstanding this season and I think he is better than Pickett.  One year wonder but he is being overlooked bigtime

He's starting to get projected as a day 2 guy. Haven't watched much on him, but I'm not seeing how Levis is still a top 10 pick in the media when it seems like Nix, Ward, Hooker, Penix all had more compelling seasons. I'd much rather go BPA and grab one of those guys on day 2 than reach for Levis

Z. Wilson, Trey Lance, Wentz, Jordan Love hurts the small school blow up stats guys chances of getting picked high. Too many times a guy in college heads out west and just dominates statistically. Nix has benefit from this as well.

Was pretty much the laughing stock of the league in the SEC and would piss down his leg in every big game. 

 

You wonder if the down grade in competition makes him appear more competent?

i think we need to take a couple QBs this year. taking one or even two late wouldn't hurt in addition to picking up one earlier.

He may not be THE MAN ,,  but he did beat Alabama lol..   of coarse there were many other bad games. Like the opener against Ga , and last week against the beavers

Kind of a side note, personally I would think about taking a couple QBs in the draft next year. Maybe one early and one mid to late round. You've got to keep buying those tickets until you hit the prize. Maybe use a trade back at some point to get an extra pick for the second QB pick.
