Taking over a rape riddled baylor team (52 cases) was pretty impressive. He may not be a good NFL coach, but he has a damn good track record in college for what he does with programs.

I think Temple and Baylor were worse programs when he took over. I bet he does very well at Nebraska. He is a very good college coach. It just did not translate to the NFL.

To be fair, he's never had the resources a program like Nebraska offers either.

That is his problem with Nebraska.....there are eventually going to be expectations of beating/finishing among Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, USC, and UCLA. 

That is a tall order for the best college coaches, let alone a guy who hasn't proven he can beat any team with a ranking. 

I wish him luck, if that is where he winds up.  I still think Arizona State or Colorado would be more his speed for now.  That level of expectation might take a generation at either of those schools.
