The pot calling the Kettle Black.

You are part of the group that bashes Corral for a poor showing in a PRESEASON GAME with scrub linemen.

Like I said.  He was an understudy for an entire season. Reps all preseason with the starting lineup.  He just doesn't have it.

Save this conversation and I'll eat crow if he turns into something.  I have more doubt about Lance than I do Corral.

Then you have poor reading comprehension, this has been explained to you over and over and over again but you simply just dont seem to get it.  At this point thats on you.  I am not about to get into it again on why corral cannot be trusted going into next season.

You have literally called Lance a bust 2x now after one game.  1 fuging game in a monsoon and you declared him a bust.  Thats why everyone is laughing at you.

I get it perfectly.  You have double standards.  Man crush on Lance and hatred for Corral.  Just freaking admit it.  My reading comprehension is perfectly fine. It's your logic that makes no sense so no matter how much you flap your lips it's doesn't make sense.

Not quite the monsoon you cry about.  This is from the official game day weather.  Notice they don't report any gusts.

Game Weather: Cloudy, rain Temp: 69° F (20.6° C) Humidity: 87%, Wind: SW 16 mph

if you can't throw in 16mph in the NFL you don't need to be playing.  IT WASN'T a monsoon. Stop making excuses.  The guy had more rushes than he had completed passes.  He had twitchy feet and took off at the first hint of pressure.

Yet, you have some mythical reasons why Corral can't be trusted.  Why cause he looked terrible in a preseason game.  Had little to no reps during the entire preseason.  I believe he was given 5 minutes at the end of practice.  If they are lucky he got 5 or 6 plays.

You make no sense and your logic as to why you give Lance so much love yet throw a way a rookie based on nothing is beyond me.

I don't know where you guys get off saying that Fields isn't impressive when everybody on ESPN has been calling him very impressive for the last month. I just don't get it. I'm not trying to be funny, but ex-QBs, ex-coaches, past players and all the analysts are contradicting every Huddler that has said something like you regarding Fields in November. And when you look at what's happened, they're right to contradict that attitude.

Even one that is being critical of some hyperbole going on surrounding Fields is also cognizant of the fact that Fields has still been impressive.

Basically, I think that y'all need to chill on the Fields-is-not-impressive talk. For me, it's just another lesson as to why you shouldn't judge these young guys (and sometimes older guys like Geno) prematurely. Context and circumstances do matter.

I think some people go into full denial if they had a wrong take about a player. These “Fields doesn’t look good” posters were people against drafting him and are now refusing to accept what they are seeing on TV. I don’t get it because we all are going to be wrong about players. Hell I didn’t think Allen, Herbert, or Slater would have the success they have already….

    • Easily. To be able to plug in a backup LT without much drop off from your starter? That could mean the difference between playoffs or sitting at home in January. Good/serviceable smart young and healthy LTs that won’t lose you a ball game at reasonable $$ don’t just come along every day. Everyone talks about the most important positions on a football team… backup LT is in the top 10.  Picture next year… the team is scrappy and competitive, 4 and 3 record, second place in the South. Morale is good. devastating run game that Let’s our marginal defense get plenty of rest. We play the Bucs and win, going to 5 and 3, but we lose Ickey to a high ankle sprain. Atl loses that week and are now at 5 and 3 as well. There is no Ickey and no BC because we let him go… and we go in to Atl the next week for a battle of first in the south. Week after that is the Jets…. Now they lose both by 10 and 3, respectively, and fall to 5 and 5 going in to their bye week. Atl is at 7 and 3. Out of typical Panthers desperation, they try to rush Ickey back in to the lineup with a saints game coming up…  Back to good old Panthers football, always playing catchup. Another season at .500 and the fans sadly rejoice in mediocrity, when playoffs were in reach. This team always overestimates its ability to pick up quality o line depth in the draft or FA and it always blows up in their faces. Like Chuba, I see him as being part of the core that Dan is trying to build. Work on his contract now and see if we can come out with something mutually beneficial. I’d consider 3 yrs at $25m to be very fair.
    • it would be great to have "double trouble" again, I even had a T- shirt for Williams and Stewart and the double trouble logo, was a great time to be Panthers fan. We shall see...
    • Sounds like a plan. Those are the teams we should be mimicking! lol
