No, I'm saying this team as a whole is underachieving. I think the MVP should be putting up outstanding stats, going above and beyond, or is the sole reason a team wins its games (i.e. Peyton Manning).

Our team isn't winning, and both Beason and Williams are being their normal, AWESOME, selves. I'm not knocking neither man, but I don't think this team deserves to have an MVP right now.

I see what you're saying, but your argument is flawed. You refuse to annoint any one player as an MVP because the team as a whole is underachieving, but you think an MVP should also be the sole reason a team wins its games?

The title of MVP is not necessarily about the team's performance. It's about the player's value to that team. We'd be foolish to think all of the players have the same value -- therefore there has to be one player that is most valuable to a team.

But I think I'm arguing semantics. I do see your point, I just hate to slight DeAngelo. I think he's one of the hardest working players on the team. I'd hate to see what this year's offense would look like without him.
