Wow, I can honestly say at this point...nobody. Sure D-Lo is Top 5 in rushing in the NFL but he did that last year as well. It's expected now. Maybe if he was #1 in rushing or something. And Beason always leads the team in tackles. It seems to obvious to give it to them. This entire team is playing under their ability and no one has really stepped up at all. It's sort of sad.

So being top 5 isn't successful anymore and it's expected? So, D-Will doesn't have to work at all to be in the top 5? Cool; news to me.

You sincerely think Williams isn't playing up to his potential because he's not the No. 1 rusher in the league?

No, I'm saying this team as a whole is underachieving. I think the MVP should be putting up outstanding stats, going above and beyond, or is the sole reason a team wins its games (i.e. Peyton Manning).

Our team isn't winning, and both Beason and Williams are being their normal, AWESOME, selves. I'm not knocking neither man, but I don't think this team deserves to have an MVP right now.

Yes, I expect Deangelo to be in the Top 5. Why? Because he's a Top 5 back. Hell, he's a Top 3 back. If he has under 1000 yds from this season on, it'd be a failure.

I don't like picking a MVP via default. "Uh...well Beason has the most tackles and calls the plays so it's gotta be him. And um, D-Lo is the only guy doing anything at all on offense, so it has to be him."

For defense I have a tie... because if you look at their individual stats then both guys are worthy of it. I chose Peppers and Beason, and some may question this but before you do look at this. Julius Peppers is 11th in the NFL in sacks with 7.5, he is one of three defensive ends to have returned an interception for a touchdown this season, and he is 2nd in the NFL in forced fumbles with 5. Beason is also an easy choice for this award. Beason is 2nd in the NFL in solo tackles, 6th in the NFL in tackles, and is tied for 8th in the NFL in fumbles recovered.

Offensive MVP is a no-brainer, DeAngelo Williams is the answer. His stats speak for him.

Defense: Julius Peppers/ Jon Beason

Offense: DeAngelo Williams
