How does that 49ers jersey fit?

It was a stupid trade and it's going to hurt us more than help us over the next 5 years.

You are just wrong on this one.

Did you not see the TD to Kittle?

Cmac leaked. Jimmy scrambled. The D saw Cmac and started to collapse and Kittle got forgotten.

It's not just his individual production we miss. We also miss the pass blocking and his ability to get others open.

He isn't walking through that door. Move on seek help or make your way over to the Niners boards.

I agree cmac is more than just a hb and people are really ignorant to that - but fact remains he was being wasted here. He has got to be on a team that has multiple weapons and San Fran understood that. Otherwise opposing teams will just dial in on him and kill and offense designed with his as the main star.

not to mention an OC/HC that knows how to use him and extend his career.

Carolina wasn’t doing poo with cmac, and that is the fault of being a shitty franchise with a dumbass owner.

For those reasons it was a good deal for everyone.

The winning core for offense was Jimmy G, CMC, Foreman, Ameer Abdullah, Chris Olave or Garrett Wilson #1, DJ Moore #2, Dan Arnold/Tommy Tremble TE, Laviska Shenault #3a, and Brandon Zylstra #3b.

Chose not to trade for Jimmy G. Traded away CMC for picks. Chose not to sign Abdullah as a back up RB/Slot receiver/Returner. Chose to not upgrade starting WRs. Chose to trade Arnold. Chose not to sign Zylstra.

Instead, we got Baker Mayfield at QB, a later round picks that will not amount to much with this front office, Foreman, Chubba Hubbard/Shi Smith, DJ Moore as the #1 WR, Anderson cut during the season, Ian Thomas signed as the starting TE, Shenault, and a slow developing TMJ with poor hands/route running.

Big L for Fitt and company.

    • I'm still not touching Hunter He again said the other day that he plans on playing both sides of the ball in the NFL.  If he is allowed to do that, he won't be as good on either side as his potential and he's going to have serious injury issues and have a short career.  If he's not allowed to do it, I think he's going to become a problem when the team isn't winning as he's going to feel him not being used on both sides of the ball is why. He's being coddled in that environment with Deion and I think it's doing a disservice to him to prepare him for life in the NFL where your coach isn't a 2nd father to you, to where you can just walk into his locker room and steal his shoes like Hunter does to Deion.
    • He’s a tad behind them. Around 15ish of 32 starters in the league. He’s well ahead of a lot of guys. Tua, Bryce, Cousins (present), Rodgers (current), Devito/Jones, Minshew, Russ (current), Watson, Smith, Carr, T Laws deep ball is weak as poo IMO, there’s plenty. And it’s not like everyone is ripping 60+ers. The key component is if you can rip and maintain velocity of the 30-40 yarders which he does super well. Legit every report out there from Brugler to PFF to PFN document him as good/above average arm strength.  Eye test tells me it’s pretty much that as well, slightly above average.
    • 6-10 carries for  35-45 yds and 3-5 catches for 15-25 would be great.
