He kinda reminded me of Deone Bucannon coming out of college. Basically a LB in a safety's body. Bucannon played really well as an undersized LB for a few years but his body just didn't hold up to it.

I'd trust Steve Wilks to make the right call on this, considering his experience.

Still, I think you have to wonder when a franchise in dire straits like the Raiders cuts a guy like that, what is really going on.

Guys, he's really, really not good. 

Our depth Safeties are better than him.

He also has a reputation of torpedoing his body with reckless abandon and injuring teammates because he has no control.

So unless you want to see him dive at Chinn's or Horn's knees trying to make a tackle and knocking them out for the rest of the season, you don't want him.
