it always seems like every year there is a consensus no 1 pick at QB, then suddenly some wild card, dark house QB appears out of nowhere to challenge that. Best example was RGIII When Luck was the consensus no 1 and how some were saying at the time RG3 should be in the discussion at no 1.

TLDR, stop overthinking and just take the consensus no 1 guy this whole time and keep it simple 

I get it, but sometimes the consensus #1 is a guy like Sam Bradford.

We have the O line to protect Young to greatly lower his risk of injury and you have to imagine Fitt is itching to draft his next Russell Wilson. 

Russ has 30-40 lbs and an inch or two on Bryce Young. That's a big difference.

personally I’d rather take a chance teaching a guy like stroud certain things to change than bet on young overcoming and constantly coping with things will never change

with that said I wouldn’t be mad either way, ultimately it will come down to desire and FO ability to set them up for success and there is a lot to be said for ethic/desire to become good. Brees Wilson Murray all have it and were small.

we are doomed anyways with dumbass Tepper calling the shots.

Russell is bigger, especially weight wise.

Young might be closer to Donte Jackson in size than Russell Wilson.

      Our receivers were right there on the field, they also watched Bryce on film, and it sounds like they're looking forward to Dalton. Xavier Legette on Andy Dalton: "He got a fine understanding of things. I like the way he throws the ball and how to position it, so I feel like we going be good... On the go balls, he knows the right timing and the right among of air... The deep ball that's something I feel I'm good at, and that's something I been working on at practice [with Andy]... I ain't talked to him [Bryce] about it [the benching] yet, but we just got to continue to play.
