What good is Burns now when we arent winning poo and we are about to have to pay him the big bucks, take a step back, clear your head and use common sense bro.

We arent winning poo before we get to use those picks anyway, Burns is garbage as an every down DE.

What is fuging insane is getting so attached to these players that you make up in your mind that they are beter than what they actually are. Burns had tons of potential, but he never lived up to it, he is still the same guy he was his rookie year.

My god you guys get too attached to guys. If it was up to most of you we would still have CMC instead of the 49ers entire draft.

but but but he is a leader........

Yea leading us straight to 5 fuging wins a season......

Some of these guys act like Burns is TJ Watt.

Burns has minimal impact on the game, other than when the other team decides to go power run to his side, then you definitely notice him.

I liked Burns a lot coming out but he never developed, he is still the same.

He should be a dark horse DPOY candidate now, instead he is just a pass rush guy who whiffs on a lot of sacks and gives up big plays in the run game.

When he wasnt getting bulldozed during the run game yesterday his (almost) sack of burrow where he fell down trying to make the play is picture perfect not only of his career but the panthers as a whole.   Just tripping on our dicks whenever it matters.

I can see getting frustrated with the Burns trade getting rejected. The Moore one wasn’t that great of a deal. Are we going to trade away our young OL too since we have a bad record? We need to keep SOME pieces to A) Attract a good HC candidate and B) Help our rookie find success at this level.

A 1st from GB who has been a playoff team every year would probably be a late first for our top offensive weapon on a decent contract.

On a side note we need to start giving Barno and Brandon Smith reps. If our defense is going to play that bad, might as well get these rookies some experience…

Why do you guys have to drag up stupid ideas to make keeping Burns look good? Thats how you know it was an idiotic decision to turn that down.

When you have to bring up insane hypotheticals to justify it.

I still gave you a pie because I want to see Smith and Barno play as well.

I think you misread my post or perhaps I wasn’t clear. I understand people being frustrated with that deal not happening. It was a good haul and Burns is going to want to be paid.

The keeping some talent was in reference to the GB trade for Moore. It’s wasn’t good enough for eating his dead hit and losing a young WR on a good contract.

Oh ok, I was cool with not trading Moore as I think most of us where. That wasnt good value for him.

So Burns sucks but a team was willing to give up 2 firsts and supposedly a 2nd for him? Some of ya'll just need to take a break from the losing if it's getting to you this bad.

Another guy whos willing to spend two 1sts and a 2nd for 8.5 sacks a season and no run support.

8.5 sacks a year are numbers that run stuffing DEs put up bro. Burns is a pass rush specialist.

Trading Moore makes no sense, especially if we are about to embark on drafting a QB.

On Burns, I suspect that it wasn’t just about the 2 firsts but rather that they didn’t want to lose a possible cornerstone of the new HC. Better to get the HC in place and then either extend or trade following their thinking.

Trading can happen in the post season so this might not be the last we hear on Burns.

Jesus H Christ, the 2nd was coming from 2023.  Giving us 3 total.  The two firsts in the subsequent years and 2 things: we aint winning poo next year with a rookie qb so the timing fits perfectly and the more importantly the rams are looking like dogshit from here on out and those picks are going to be high.  Again lining up with our rebuild perfectly

The whole "the picks are in the future so they are worthless" argument is fuging retarded at fuging best

So for an immediate 2nd the team loses their current leader in sacks, TFLs, and QB hits? Then two future firsts so that they can wait another season to potentially trade up for a QB? No thank you. No head coach worth their pay wants to come to a team with no players and a bunch of lotto tickets.
