Getting rid of two of the best players on the roster (one of them with a team friendly deal that's already been signed) at two of the most important positions in today's game for lotto tickets is silly and self destructive.

Going to be hard enough getting a quality HC. Last thing the team needs to do is make it even harder by having nobody on the roster.

Plus... the Rams? We're mad that we didn't trade for a 2030 & 2031 1st?

Panthers are in football pergatory................to win or not to win...........that is the question.

Either choice has liabilities that manifest as time goes on....

Its an easy choice, not like we could win if we wanted to anyway.

There are no consequences for losing out this season as everyone on the coaching staff needs to go like yesterday. We also need to clear out all of the Temple/Baylor players.

We need to see guys on the field that have not gotten playtime to see what they have. Stop trotting out these guys when we already know what they can do( and its not much) .

Keep being dense. Even if the picks were in 2035/36 Burns isnt worth 2 firsts. We feature him on our D like he is a all pro type player when he is just a pass rush specialist.

Miami had a fire sale a few years back and now they are 6-3 and look loads better than our trash ass team.

They got rid of their starting LT and Minkah. Which was probably their best 2 players. We just keep doing Panther things.

No thanks to your two 1sts and a 2nd, we will keep our 8-9 sacks a season, thanks.

Plus the Rams are sitting at 3-5 stafford looks like he is trending downward they will be looking for a QB and those picks could be pretty nice picks. They just lost to a team we beat easily.

Jags, Jets, and Lions have been drafting in the top 10 since the Panthers last had a winning record. You can sell your house and use all of the money on Powerball tickets if you want, but that doesn't make it any less foolish.

Or you can keep middling guys and pay them like they are at the top of their position.

IDC what you say in no world do you turn down 2 1sts and a 2nd for Brian "gets bullied in the run game" Burns.

Im not that sore about hanging on to Dj, but SpiderBurns should have been gone. Its just completely stupid, he is not going to get any better than he is now, the dude has had years. He should be a 12-15 sacks guy and shut down the run if we are keeping him over 2 1sts and a second, end of story.

There is no rationale for keeping Burns when we could have had that for him. IDC what dumbass analogy you drag up.

Also the Jets are 6-3 and just beat the Bills yesterday with no QB, they wont be picking top 10 this season

Burns is still our best pass rusher and one of the leaders on Defense.

We need help at both LB and Edge. Not only is there no competent threat across from him there's literally no depth to spell him or wear out the o-line.

It's so weird how you guys think causing MORE roster problems will suddenly fix the roster problems we had but you know, again, post lost reactionary huddle takes are the funniest.

That has worked out aces since he has been here.  Leader you say, we just got embarrassed yesterday, boy that was some leadership he displayed getting run over again and again.  Cant wait to see how he leads this team moving forward.  Props to fitt for keeping this "core" together

Those two "best" players have produced 5 wins in the past and currently 2 this season.  They are not as good as you think they are.  The moore trade with the packers is certainly debatable with his contract but as it stands now they are sitting at 3 wins.  Looking like a top 10 pick.  The burns trade however, is not debatable, fat neck fitt should have taken that and laughed like hell while doing it

You wouldnt spend 3 picks in the draft to get 8.5 sacks a year and get abused in the run game?? Your not team building right bro.....Dont forget he does a cool spidey thing....

What good are those picks when we aren't going to get to use them for years? The Jets picked in the top 10 for the last 6yrs (once @ #11). Are you suggesting that the Panthers do the same in order to be able to use those picks from the Rams and have a 6-3 record? That's insane.

Thats the thing that posters defending keeping burns is missing.  Would you do that trade if the shoe was on the other foot?  fug no you wouldnt, sean gilbert comes to mind and this is even more then that dumb ass one was.

The Rams got a hard on for Burns and fitt just blinked like the dumb ass he is.

Jesus H Christ, the 2nd was coming from 2023.  Giving us 3 total.  The two firsts in the subsequent years and 2 things: we aint winning poo next year with a rookie qb so the timing fits perfectly and the more importantly the rams are looking like dogshit from here on out and those picks are going to be high.  Again lining up with our rebuild perfectly

The whole "the picks are in the future so they are worthless" argument is fuging retarded at fuging best

That kind of deal is something you give up for a top flight DE like myles garrett, not fuging Brian Burns.

That deal should have been done immediately and Fitt should have been holding back the laughter until the call ended.

Two 1st round picks and a 2nd round pick for a 8.5 sacks a year guy who cant stop the run.

I just dont know how anyone can be that dumb, maybe there were conditional picks or something, idk. Something doesnt add up though.

What good is Burns now when we arent winning poo and we are about to have to pay him the big bucks, take a step back, clear your head and use common sense bro.

We arent winning poo before we get to use those picks anyway, Burns is garbage as an every down DE.

What is fuging insane is getting so attached to these players that you make up in your mind that they are beter than what they actually are. Burns had tons of potential, but he never lived up to it, he is still the same guy he was his rookie year.

My god you guys get too attached to guys. If it was up to most of you we would still have CMC instead of the 49ers entire draft.
