Baker has much more talent than he showed in his first several games here. He's not the answer for us but he's generally a low end starter/high quality backup at QB. PJ has been a fun story but he's not even an NFL backup in my eyes.

Sam is still the best qb on the roster, shitty as it is. Baker has yet to even come close to playing comparable to one of Sam’s better games last year.

Just now, The NFL Shield At Midfield said:

Baker is one of those guys who seems to have most of the traits you need as a QB but it just like... doesn't mesh or something.  The ball placement on that TD was sick but everybody knows he's not a long term solution for that position.

They are gonna be in prevent all game, they will still score on our defense at will unless they just run the ball or something.

    • If we could ever actually get to full health we would be a problem
    • So sounds like Jones wants to sign with a playoff contender before season's end. First off, definitely not us. Second, that scream more like a guy that would rather ride the coatails of a winner than someone who wants a more viable path to be a starter again. Third, which playoff team will actually want him? Initial guess is Vikings.
    • It's not about numbers or charts. It's film. Film don't lie. Bryce would have to show command of the offense, the ability to be a calm during the chaos and the ability to motivate the offense. Bryce would have to be on the field as the offense moves consistently. If he does that week to week, and the offense can put up 24+ points, I'm happy. Anything less and he ain't it. It's that simple. It's why The Golden Calf of Bristol had the length of time he had. Team did well with him out there. Was he short lived? Absolutely, but that one stretch of games was fun as hell to watch. Bryce has to at least do that. He has to at least be The Golden Calf of Bristol in his prime. Lol Jesus fug the bar is low and Bryce can still walk under it
