I forgot Tennessee was playing Georgia today. That's must see TV.

I don't see Hooker as much of an NFL prospect if I'm being brutally honest but that doesn't mean he's not a helluva college QB.

I like him but he will probably end up in that backup Geno role and be good at it.

I'm intrigued as fug by Richardson. I lived in CO when Josh Allen was at Wyoming and honestly Richardson looks like the same guy as Josh Allen in college. The question is will lightning strike twice? I gave Allen zero chance at becoming a legit NFL QB. I've never seen anyone improve so dramatically as a pure passer. There's not even a close second that comes to mind for me.

I also didn’t think Allen had any chance at being good. Especially after his first year was so bad. But their team surrounded him with talent and focused on his development.  I think a QB coming to Carolina has better talent to throw to than Allen had in year 1 but can we develop a guy?

When will everyone learn. Take a damn QB.

We have been not taking QB's for years now. How has that worked out? If they think whomever could be a NFL starter at QB, you draft him and find out. Don't let another team find out. Don't pass on Allen, Mahomes, and Jackson for an elite DE. That elite DE isn't scoring you a lot of touchdowns.

I'm at the point now we have our LT, any pick in the top 10 not a QB is a luxury pick. We can't afford luxury picks.

I get that Levis is trending down after that UT game, but I still see plenty of potential. He is 68% completion in a tough conference on a bottom tier team. I don’t think he has accuracy issues. I think he tries pressing too much and tries to force passes when his team is outmatched which makes him throw too many INTs.
Neyland stadium rocked Kentucky’s rocked UK’s world and his whole team played awful. His OC did him no favors and his first pick was the WR losing the ball after he got hit (it went down hill from there). I mean 3 of his 8 INTs were from that game. Give him a HC that knows how to use him and he can be solid IMO.

I don't post much but have followed this site for 20 years. I really prefer we go best available which would be Anderson and draft a QB in the 2nd round. I personally believe all these QB's are developmental guys.

Almost all QBs in every draft are developmental. Pickett and Lawrence were said to be “Pro Ready” and look at how they have started off. You can have a few generational exceptions, but for the most part rookie QBs need time to develop. I think even Peyton Manning threw a shitload of picks his rookie year.

That's what I am afraid of. That Tampa game costing us a top two pick and then get a QB who might be Ryan Fitzpatrick on a good day...

If Stroud and young are gone, it needs to be BPA. I wouldn't use a 1st rounder on any of the other QBs

You can get any other top prospect at another position and it wont mean poo. Your team is nothing without the QB. You cant count on getting your guy in the next draft either. Just because your top 2 may be gone, shouldnt mean you quit. Select the next best QB. We need to keep searching for our guy.

The trick is picking out the Allens, Mahomes, and Jacksons from the Gabberts, Rosens, and Darnolds. Drafting QBs only helps you if you draft the right ones. Just ask the Jets.

I agree with this.  I think it will be interesting if we see something similar to last year where teams don't reach for the QB.  Not saying Young or Stroud will drop to 20 but wonder if the hesitancy persists.  If so it will probably be worth taking a chance on one in late first/second.
