Kiper has made a good living researching college players.  He sucks, however, at predicting their success at the next level.  I think the Huddle can do better.

didnt someone in this very threat show a draft analysis ranking and he was ranked 12 out of like 360. Kiper is fine on the upper end of it all but like weather predictions no one is 100% accurate. a bunch of factors go into a players success which have nothing to do with talent evaluation.

Coaching..  Outside factors( henry riggs) talent around player and of course work eithic. scouting a player and sayinf he has the tools is about as far as a draft scout can go... if he doesnt pop does that mean he never had the talent? or did some other factor stop him from reaching that ceiling?

Its really early. I really dont dig into the draft until after the season is over. all the tape is in. start seeing some measurables... im big athletic thresholds and such so combine numbers and performances. see the arm strength.  There is always a late riser.. im personally very curious to see if Anthony richardson can develop.

He is carving A&M up right now. If he can figure it out hes got the unique tools be lamar jackson like...

    • Film Room Playlist _ NFL Pro — Mozilla Firefox 2024-11-25 10-20-11.mp4 🎯🎯🎯 There were a couple of "fans" yesterday saying that this wasn't a helmet-to-helmet shot... 👀 Looks like based on where Moore was and where the play ended, he'd have gotten maybe just a yard or two more. Chuba was downed at the KC 16 and Moore was on his way back to the QB, so the offense got what they could for the most part. After reviewing the all-22, Bryce made the right call here. Tremble was the hot and KC sent both LBs. He gets it out with a clear pocket but it's quickly collapsing. If there was a little more time it looked like AT came free at the end but whether or not Bryce would've been upright still is another story. Smart move to get the completion and keep the field goal in play to stay alive. George Karlaftis is about to get himself a big ole hug and Bryce heaves it to where David Moore is going. Trent McDuffie slipped just a step or two before this shot, but we can see the clear DPI here as he's wrapped around David Moore before knocking him over as the ball gets there.
    • I’m taking a TE early day 3 Ian Thomas and Tremble are FA.  We should have no desire to bring them back.   There’s more than enough film of ball bouncing off their hands or facemask.
    • Daniel Jones sometimes would sling it for 300 or 400 yards.  That's my stance.  We know what Bryce is.  If you consistently play any QB at this level, they largely are going to end up w/ some good days/games.  last time Mahomes was at BOA, Teddy Bridgwater threw for 300+ yards and a couple TDs and the Matt Rhule Panthers almost took him down.  We know what Bryce is.  Now we got people predictably falling into a predictable trap.
