The trade deadline is past. That's the end of it until at least mid March.

Idk why I could’ve swore we traded for Jared Allen like week 13 or something. I guess I’m just dreaming lol.

It was probably a waivers type thing. I don’t know the fine points but there is an order, and the 1st team in that order gets 1st option on waived players. When they do make a claim I think they go to the end of the line. 
A waved player must clear waivers with no claims made to become a FA. I’m not real clear on the rest of it. But there is more to it.

1) trade deadline is past so the whole conversation is moot.

2) some people can't keep tinderbox arguments inside the tinderbox. and if they keep doing it, they'll find themselves having to create other accounts that i'll have fun shutting down each time i see one.
