He had a pass rusher in his face.  IMO, at that point, he should have taken the sack, or tried to run out of it.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious he is still not the caliber of NFL OC we are going to need.

Still, he does seem better without Rhule. I would imagine with an actual adult NFL coach in the building the weekly game planning isn't a fuging shitshow. I bet that helps substantially.

No,  it was a horrible play call.  My son predicted what they were going to run.   Atlanta saw it coming.  Its why one defender got in PJ's face and the other sank back to jump the pass.  When all you run is screens, teams practice defending a lot of screens.  Expect to see a LOT more of that as the season progresses because we abuse the screen.
