Wow thats even worse that he was on the practice squad

It just one of many Hurney mistakes that still haunt this team today. And to think it was one of the only late round picks he actually got right. Ron want to stick with Gano and the rest is history.

I would not consider the end of regulation XP to be a routine kick. It was a pressure kick, he missed. Given an easier but still pressure kick, he missed.

How close would it needed to have been to be considered an easy kick in OT, inside the 10?

I would argue that DJ put pressure on the kicker in a game winning situation more than the Falcons ever could. That followed Pineiro into OT and had him off his game. Pineiro is not a top kicker and was focused on his game. DJ threw him off really bad and like most kickers this could have carry over until Pineiro breaks this slump. Send him to the sports psychologist and send the bill to DJ Moore.

They sit around all day doing little but kicking the ball when needed. They make millions of dollars to kick it between the sticks. Good kickers make those. Unemployed ones dont.

No it wasn’t. Kicker missed a similar kick to a normal PAT in overtime. No reason to believe he would have made it without the penalty

Maybe. But you could also say he got rattled from trying to hit a 50 yard XP. As he missed it exactly the same way.

But he sucks. He’s been on six teams in four years. And he’s only here due to injury.

In other words we all know he sucks and it’s a matter of luck when you ask this dude to kick anything, knowing that you’d think DJ wouldn’t have fuged with it, but he isn’t that smart.

Don't blame this on DJ.

Why not.. It was Moore who took his helmet off so everyone could see his face ..

That was , what , a 48 yard extra point attempt ?  And if had been 15 yards closer we’d have won.

If Robbie Anderson had pulled that boneheaded move, we’d be crucifing him ..

DJ Moore needs to be held to professional standards

Truthfully D.J. Should not have taken his helmet off. However, the problem I have with the penalty being called is that it is not consistently called across the league.

This. If you can't call it consistent each game throughout the entire league week after week then it has no business being called when a ref just feels like calling it for shits and giggles especially instances that COMPLETELY after the landscape and outcome of a game.
