🤦‍♂️ One dimensional? Did we only run CMC and never pass it? PJ has passed it more than we’ve run.

I mean one dimensional in the sense that our only offense was CMC....

Last week we had a pretty good game plan...still do this week just PJ is flat out sucking so far...

It's more the receivers than PJ. They don't seem hungry or ready. PJ has it hitting their hands. PJ is not the best QB in the league; he is not Drew Brees. These WRs need to make a play or get cut.

One of the most ridiculous things you’ve posted, and that’s saying something. PJ is all over the place, throwing terrible uncatchable passes

This is why PJ has struggled to stay in the NFL. The accuracy just isn't there. This is a very winnable game. If he keeps throwing the football like this we're going to struggle to put points on the board all day long and he'll probably start balls to the guys in black.

Too bad, because he really does have a love arm.

Again, last year we won when he played (4-3) and lost when he didn’t play (1-9). Last year is the only sample large enough since we were 18-14 in his first two years.

People are just overreacting to last week's win.

No offense with CMC should be predictable. McAdoo sucks.

Whatever

it doesn’t matter.  He is gone

    • Yeah and he succeeded at an even higher level in LA with an even better surrounding cast. Goff is a guy that isn't really able to dramatically elevate players around him but he can make a good situation even better. He is capable of that. Some QB's aren't. I am not sure Dak is able to do that and he is in a similar "class" as Goff, IMO.
    • i think i could handle that for a year. beyond that....i don't know.  back where we lived, when we had a few inches of snow, it might have been a couple feet because we weren't getting out and doing anything. i remember times where power would go out for days on end. we had propane and electric heat, depending on the floor. basement (had a couple bedrooms and a living room and kitchen down there) and main floor had gas logs. main floor gas logs was enough to take care of the upstairs, so we could stay warm and cook on the grill when we needed. we had a well so that was always an issue when the power went out. had to make sure tubs were filled with water for the toilets and we had gallons of water for drinking and cooking available. always had to make sure we were ready. that wasn't always the case. we had a couple moments where we were going through propane quickly and because we were dealing with the worst propane company in the world (amerigas) they wouldn't get out to put gas in our 900 gallon tank. made for some nerve racking moments.  i know y'all were probably a lot more able to handle that kind of thing, but after the little bit (comparatively) that we got here i just have no desire to get trapped again. maybe for a day or two a year get snowed in and i'm good.
    • I think he is just drawing a DC to them line and that's about as far as his thought process went. It makes almost no sense outside of that. Also, it doesn't make sense for Pittsburgh or Seattle at this juncture either.  I think our "veteran" pool is basically gonna be the Dalton/Flacco tier or the "pick your poison" options of young busts(Jones/Z. Wilson) or wild, TO prone gunslingers(Darnold/Winston/etc). We have the option to pursue I genuinely believe(depending on the way the rest of this season goes), we either draft a QB in the top 10 or resign Dalton. Outlier third option on taking one of the wild gunslingers that Dave feels like he can work with.
