Good chance those Rams picks are decent, but none next year is a killer to me.

Why?  You planning on the Panthers winning the Super Bowl next year, or even the few year(s) after that.

This team is in LONG term rebuild, go get those 2024 and 2025 first round picks.  Embrace the suck and the process..

They are not that far away. There is a solid base on defense and the OL. Plug in the right pieces in the offseason and this team could be making a playoff run next year and ready to really make a run the following season.

If that solid piece is Lamar Jackson, I'm on board.  But it won't be.  This team is easily 3-5 years from competing for anything that looks like a Super Bowl. Wont change me rooting for them, but if you have ideas of anything else, your delusional.

The Bengals would disagree with you. From #1 pick taking a QB, that QB missing a third of his rookie year because of injury, to the Super Bowl his first full year playing.

These Brian Burns trade discussions are getting exhausting. Only in fantasy land or on the huddle do you get two first round picks and then use those to immediately hit on two stud rookies one of which becomes an all pro pass rusher overnight. It's time for some of ya'll to wake up from your daydream.

Are you saying Burns is an All-pro pass rusher?

    • Fans are fed up with this organization's endless string of failures. And, while Morgan's less than a year into his current position, everything he's done is barreling down the same path shat out by his predecessor. If we're just pointing out this alarming lack of discrepancy between the performances of two GMs, it's really not hating. He's just proving to not be a good hire. And, hey, it's alright, because whoever Tepper hires next will, at best, only suck a little bit less. I don't mind people who are optimistic and hope Morgan turns out to be better than he's been thus far. That'd be great. None of us are rooting for him to fail. However, the embarrassing pattern of decisions persists. And it's not a good look.
    • You have to view everything that was done in 2024 through the ‘eliminate excuses for Bryce Young’ lens IMO. It only makes sense that way.     If you allow for that, you will see that Diontae fulfilled his purpose.
    • The Panthers' beat writer called the Johnson trade return "a warm bottle of RC Cola." If you're quick to discount every bit of news that disagrees with your view, maybe your view is the problem. Morgan deals himself a bad hand and he deserves every bit of criticism for it. Fitterer was the worst GM ever, but Morgan is a very similar brand of awful. Certainly when it comes to trades since 2021, Morgan's body of work makes him at best, only one of the worst negotiators in the history of North American professional sports. That's simply pointing out the numerous shortcomings he's put on display. If I point at a guy who shot someone and say "he murdered a guy," I'm not hating on him -- I'm pointing out what he did. If Morgan wants to not be labeled an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better, simply stop being an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better. Or, wait until Tepper makes him the fall guy after Evero.
