As they say, that’s why they play the games. Carolina rolled over the Bucs, 21-3, and former XFL MVP P.J. Walker really stood out at quarterback. Walker completed 16 of 22 passes for 177 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions against Tampa Bay’s beleaguered defense, and he also tied for the NFL lead in Week 7 with three completions of 20 or more air yards. Joe Burrow of the Bengals was the other quarterback with three explosive completions, and he’s not exactly a secret.

What stood out to me was Ikey gets beat on the TD pass to Moore, but he kept fighting, recovered, and punched the end just enough to give PJ’s arm room to make the throw.

Hell of a job sticking with the play and not giving up. That’s the difference between a strip sack vs. a TD for us.

The thing with Walker is I think a lot of us are wondering when the proverbial clock strikes midnight and he steps out of his glass slipper.

(probably some saying the same thing about Steve Wilks for that matter)

Wish him the best, but I wouldn't say my expectations are high.

Yea I got him at 4 games right now.......

This is crazy talk, but I want to see Darnold without the guiding hands of Rhule and this new nasty good playing OL...... Darnold has NEVER had even a ok OL, each of the last five years each OL was ranked in the 30s....plus no more weirdo cancer causing anderson screwing up the team comp.....he was always hurting the QBs mind with his terrible actions.
