I think Darnold should already be evaluated. During the preseason when he played behind the starting line he was still locking on to his first read and nothing else. If the first read wasn’t there he’d scramble.
For me:

Baker - No

Darnold - NO

Waker - Maybe, but he isn’t a starter in this league. Bucs defense missed some interceptions last game. A better team would have intercepted him a few times.

Time will tell with PJ, but in the past PJ has looked terrible mostly. The odds are sky high that PJ will have a bad season overall.

We have a great opportunity to continue to evaluate PJ, Sam, and Baker this season before we part ways. I wouldn't mind seeing Sam again before his ship sails permanently. The knock on Sam is that he doesn't see the field, but I like the idea of one more shot for Sam. Then again keep a shot leash on him in case he reverts to trash as is likely to happen.

Man, it's day and night seeing how well the Panthers offensive line is performing this season.

In the wake of PJ Walker's impressive performance last Sunday, credit the offensive line for allowing it to happen.

Beautiful pass, but even more beautiful offensive line work. Absolute wall just keeping back the Bucs pass rush from even doing anything.

Get some consistency out of the QB position, and the Panthers could really be a force in the future.

that was just a beautiful play all around. i mean PJ looked like a real playmaking QB there, but he looked good all game. it's just weird. and the OL... that's what we've needed for over a decade.

i think rhule was maybe trying to help people's self-esteem and make himself look like their mentor or something, but the truth is he was holding everyone back. he got in their heads. that's what he does. so glad he's gone.

Our defense is talented. And currently our offensive line is taking care of business, and making life easy for the backs and whatever QB.

Thats not a recipe for the 1st or 2nd pick.

If we didn’t already have Corral, I’d be more concerned, but he allows me to just enjoy the ride right now.

Obviously if you think Corral stinks you get no comfort lol. My conviction of his skill level hasn’t wavered though, as he was a 3rd rounder because of superficial reasons and not due to talent.

Amazing how we overreact to one decent game. PJ had 60 yards passing just a week ago vs Rams

I think it's somewhat in the middle like most things. It will be interesting to watch the Falcons game because they are a scrappy team playing pretty good football. Our defense is definitely looking much better as well without Snow's BS.
