    • Jake's finger is hurt, but he could play if he was playing well, and we needed him.

I fractured a finger on my right hand (ring finger) in High School and kept playing basketball for a week or two before finally going to the doctor and getting it xrayed. I think I was just wrapping it/taping it for that week.

Hmmm, I'm not sure what my point is, since obviously they put it in a splint as soon as they realized it was broken. Surprised Jake would just have a tape job considering he's an NFL qb.

Still no, how the f**k should we know option. That is my vote.

I didnt ask what you KNEW.

I asked what you THINK.

Well that may be too much to ask for some.

Edit: okay, I didnt ask if you knew, but since no one here is a Panthers trainer, I assumed that this was going to be an opinion.

One part that our resident goofball conspiracy theorists still have yet to latch on to is that if the team wanted to go the "phantom injury" route, why would they choose to claim something that`s easily verifiable?

It doesn't appear to be easily verifiable.

I dont think there would be an article the on Charlotte Observer site, questioning the injury, if it was so "easily verifiable".

The Observer would have trouble verifying who won the Presidential election.

I looked on the Observer site, and didn't see anything. What article are you referring to?

Just to throw another thing in, putting aside the HIPAA silliness, just the fact that medical records exist is enough. Someone would have to be willing to risk a charge of falsifying medical records, and essentially their career, to fake that? And all just to help Fox save face? Doubt it.

All that plus they've actually been taking measures (hand specialist, etc) to try to help him heal more quickly because - as odd as it sounds - Fox apparently would want Delhomme back in if he could get him.

Still, probably won't convince the hardcore conspiracy theorists though. Heck, we had fans dumb enough to believe that Delhomme was married to Fox's daughter
