Cowher's Coaching record...

Must have been tough to win the division with the perennial contenders that he had to face every year...

:leaving:

Right because the Panthers have to face the dreaded and dominant Bucs, Falcons, and Saints Franchises.

Three of the all time sh*tty franchises in the history of the NFL.

3/9.

1998-2006. Nine years.

1st in 2001, 1st in 2002, 1st in 2004. Three division championships.

Read wikipedia more carefully.

The games over .500 state is moronic because Cowher coached for 15 seasons to Fox's (almost) 8 seasons.

And to discount Tomlin's accomplishment of taking an 8-8 team from Bill Cowher after 2006 to a Super Bowl victory in 2008 is just as stupid.

lmao you looked at wikipedia? Maybe you should look at a more credible source: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/CowhBi0.htm

98-06. Playoffs FOUR times.

I was taking a shot at you, good to see you picked up on that.

Anyway, you're right, they were in the playoffs four times. But you were wrong in your original statement of saying four conference championships, which I refuted. They won three in the last nine years of Cowher's career. In 2005 they were a wildcard.

So to recap because you seem to be slow at getting this: Three conference championships in the last nine years. Three. 3. Tres. Trois. Drei.

Understand now?

that guy sucks. he'll never amount to anything.

Yeah, I'm not saying I want Cohwer here...(damn how many times have I said that?) Anyway, you just never know what somebody will do the second time around. Cowher might just be better the next time. So, would I rather have a first time HC? IDK? It's all a crap shoot anyway....but if Cowher were to become our next Coach, I really won't have a problem with the decision.
