They actually have a trick play where the whole offensive line does that. They did it against UNC a couple of games ago. Don't know why they do it, Bobby Bowden's brilliant game planning I suppose.

um, that happened a few times that game, with there being an offsides by the defense and the lineman staying in their stance. Its what they are taught to do. Youd have to ask Rick Trickett why that is. Probably to let the refs know the infraction is on the defense and not the offensive lineman.
