He's 6'3 210 lbs. He's the same size as Zac Wilson. Could easily put on another 15 lbs but I doubt they've done that at Coastal because he hasn't needed it.

I mean Anderson is small.

If Anderson was Myles Garrett size I'd be foaming at the mouth for him.

I’ve watched Coastal plenty of times… and yes what they do is entirely based off the triple-option.

I shouldnt post this and further this dumb ass thread but in Mccalls defense they are letting him throw downfield a lot this season.  I have watched basically every game of his.

Having said that if you think a new coach is going to choose Anderson over a top prospect and hope to get mccall in the 2nd you are retarded.

He actually threw down the field a lot last year as well but the schemes are such that his receivers get open with ease… it’s kind of similar to Wake Forest’s delayed mesh which allows wide receivers to eventually gain separation.

I’m not saying that he’s not good at what he does. I’m saying that I don’t want anything to do with a G5 QB running a heavy RPO/Triple-Option scheme.

It looked like Corral was going to need a full season to get accustomed to an NFL playbook and he ran RPO at an SEC school against quality defenses… McCall is doing it against Sun Belt teams…

And Sun Belt teams are beating SEC teams so what's your point? App beat Texas A&M, ODU beat Virginia Tech, South Alabama was a stupid coaching decision from beating UCLA, JMU will probably beat Louisville. Coastal will almost certainly beat UVA. Look, I'm not pretending the Sun Belt is the SEC. But the Sun Belt is the 6th highest rated conference right now and the Sun Belt East is almost even with the PAC 12 North (what was) and one of the ACC divisions.

They aren't rhe SBC of old. Further, I'm not advocating taking him the 1st round.

I'm saying you take the generational guy in Anderson (production, motor, skill) and you pass on an overpriced QB in Stroud, Levi's, et. al.

I like mccall a lot, pulling for him in the nfl, and I think he should be getting more pub just on his accuracy alone.   But there is no way on gods green earth we are going to pick him in the first or pick him in the second.  I would bet dollars to donuts stroud or levis will be the pick

He had more than 20 sacks and almost 40 TFL last year, right? Something insane like that?

Y'all said the same poo about Micah Parsons as well.

He had 17.5 last year (very impressive) but only has 6 this year. A&M, and UT held him to 0 sacks 2.5 of them have come from Vandy… I seriously forgot he was even playing when I was watching the Tennessee game. Generational DEs are like Peppers and Garrett who you always notice every game. Anderson could be good, but not worth 1st overall to me.

In which case I'd also rather take Sam Hartman over Stroud and Levis.
