Say what you will about this organization but not many teams out there with the exception of maybe the Chiefs can say they have reached the SB not once but twice just a few or couple short years after finishing dead last in the league.

Maybe not but we might finally have our opportunity to draft a top tier talent at QB again. 

That would be a great help for the future of our franchise.

You must have not been around during draft time and pre draft in 2011. I remember it like it was yesterday, nearly EVERYONE and all the experts said that Cam was a HUGE risk and reach because he just ran a one read option at Auburn and it would take years for him to be NFL ready.

Mel Kiper and Mcshay were saying (no I’m not even joking) that we should draft Blaine Gabbert or Jake Locker over Cam because they were more pro ready day 1.

Stroud, Young and even Levis are way more NFL ready now then Cam was coming out of Auburn.

Heck not even Cam was Cam coming out in 2011, it was doom and gloom the moment Luck went back to school.

We could be talking about the next Manning or something come April you just never know.

So many want to say we have a depleted team.  I don't agree.  We have several good pieces in place and Fitterer made it a point that we will not trade any of our good young talent.

We have to nail this first pick and our history shows we are pretty good at getting a good player in the first round.   

I think if do well with the 4 picks we have in the first 3 rounds we can compete in 2023 for a division title and the playoffs.

I was around. It was so easy to fall in love with the potential. Red flags? Absolutely.

But the dude was one of, if not the most physically gifted QB prospect of all time, and he dominated the SEC, carrying Auburn on his back. 
 

The main concern was “CaM iS a SeLfIsH tHuG” which always needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

I think it’s far more likely Anderson is Peppers vs. these QB’s are Cam.

We'll luckily Stroud/Young won't be used like Cam so you can't even compare the three. We've never had a QB like Stroud/Young. THAT is the rebuild. We become a 100% different team.
