I highly doubt any promises have been made about much of anything at this point with how Tepper has been so thoroughly embarrassed through this.

I think Tepper sees it as a win-win. 
 

Wilks does great and makes chicken salad out of chickenshit then great, he has a HC.

Wilks can’t pull it together and show the improvement he had vested in Matt, he can go get his HC and he helps the NFL out in the process with their lawsuit because Wilks will have even more of a losing record.
