Sounds to me like there's going to be a roster evaluation from top to bottom as the season unfolds.

  At some point everyone is going to play to show what they can do including practice squad guys. That is they haven't be traded by then.

Panthers  haven’t really said 

one day it’s hip. Next day it’s ribs 

coach said in press  conference it’s the area in between hip and ribs 

then coach said something about letting him heal further before the division game against the Bucs 

who knows.
