Star aligning for a win and the PJ meme to continue

1.  Currently the Rams are on what I believe is there 3rd string center.  Protection up front a major issue.   And who has suddenly been looking like a super stud? The man in the middle Derrick Brown.

Few will debate that the Panthers do have defensive talent and it has been playing well? What will a Wilks D add? Likely more pressure and blitzing.

Last 2 weeks, the Rams are averaging 9.5 pts per game and allowing 6 sacks a game.

2.  The Rams offense is massively out of sync.  It’s basically been a one man show of Cooper Kupp.   Who is plagued with injury right now? Kupp.  So while he is projected to play, we are getting a neutered version of the only thing that works in their O.  Not to mention most believe Stafford is playing through injury as well.

3.  The best player on the field Sunday is Aaron Darnold.   But that’s a healthy Darnold. As the stars align for us who happens to be hampered? Aaron Darnold.   So while he still projects to play, we get a weakened version of him.

PJ Walker - soon to be 3-0.  I mean, 8-0.   Then back to the bench to hopefully never start again so he can live in Panthers lore as the GOAT.

if Jalen Ramsey has 0 pass attempts his direction.  We winning this thing.  Just don’t do it.

    • After that Wallace pick my smart friend turned to me and said " Dan is drafting like he's still playing ".... I thought some and was enough hot about the brooks trade up, that I agreed. ____________________________________________________ The best thing about the WR group- They are very young and have potential. The worst thing about the WR group- They are very young and have potential. When I listed the WR group as positive, I honestly do not know if the group is "fixed" or not. Im not from the future or nothing, but either are other folks. I do feel this- This is the deepest group I can ever recall in Panthers history. I'd say its 10 deep and past years they have struggled to bring 5 decent guys into TC even including the UDFA "superstars ". That's doubled my brother!    The huddle is _______ and such, but its treatment of XLs rookie year is among the top 5 WTHs for me. Im old enough to member fantasy football, where it was against the unwritten rules to draft a WR before their 3rd year(rough terms). The trade up to make him a first...... come on it was for a late 6th and well worth the 5th year option.  He had foot and hand issues starting in OTAs last year and still played for 500 yards, 4 TDs, and 50 recs. That was with bad BY, Dalton, and 9 games of bama BY..... in a new offense that was still finding itself. He's under contract for the next 4 years at a bargain if you look at current WR salaries. Coker had a similar year and he's under contract for two more years at min. pay. TMAC, was just the best player on the board. It had nothing to do XL. The deal about WRs is you can play 5 on the same play and its very common for many teams to run 3 WRs sets as their base.   TMAC, XL, and Coker will be moved alllllll around and play different positions, no one is locked into true X spot. You should see this on game days and even Dave has said this too. The one group this team should know best is WR. Dave and his OC brad were WR coaches before each became OCs. In Dave's case, he logged around 8-10 years there. Then one of the better assistant coaches is none other than Rob Moore. Before he started coaching WRs..back in 2009 he was coming off a borderline HOF career. He's got 35 years experience. Add in Dave and Brad and its nearly 50 years. This is not like OL having proved itself, I am projecting here. *provided bama BY is able to get better, I believe this WR group will have a similar result and hold the good rank for 2-3 years.
    • Yeah, he is leaps and bounds better than Wallace. But the question then becomes, when do you get Wallace the reps to even attempt to develop? I feel the same way about Pratt as I did Ramsey, it's a short solution for a long term situation.
