Unless you can get multiple picks for each, trading Moore and CMC would be pointless and dumb.

Unless you can get say a 2nd and 4th and a 2nd and 5th for each Moore and CMC, essentially 4 picks for two players, it would be pointless to trade them for a late first rounder and just one pick.

ok so say you trade CMC to the bills for a “first round draft pick.” Woo hoo, we now have two first round draft picks, profit!! Not exactly, that will be anywhere from pick 28-32, ok so now we have a big gaping hole to fill at RB with CMC gone.

How do we fill that hole?! What FA RB is out there that matches what CMC can do? Or what RB prospect are you going to get at pick 31 or 32 to come close to the player CMC is?

Same exact logic for Moore. You trade DJ Moore, you now have a big void at WR you now have to fill. Are you filling that in FA? Is this a deep enough draft class to get a stud WR at picks 28-32?!

Now two picks for each player at least makes more sense value wise because you can address more needs. But trading straight up for just a late first round pick.. dumb.

DJ Moore should not be moved unless he garners multiple first rounders and more. The Hill and Adams trade dictated that. He is both cheaper and has similar numbers to those 2.

The only way I'd move off of CMC is if some desperate to win super bowl team throws a 1 and some change for him, thats it.

Holy crap I’d trade Mccaffrey for a 1st round pick yesterday! Y’all have lost it 😂

He’s going to be super valuable run into the ground in 2 years as a RB going on 30 in the NFL lol. His highest value is to a team ready to win now. We are not.

going on 30? Do you know how old CMC is....? lol.

He turned 26 3 months ago...

Nobody is trading a 1st for an aging injury prone running back. Even if its Christian McCaffrey. Dont let our love for players inflate what they're worth to other teams. If we can get a 2nd from Buffalo for CMac.... Its a steal.

There's already rumors that CMC and Robbie are on the block. The rebuild is in full effect. The problem is that our genius GM left us with on 4 picks in next year's draft.

CMC is great, but its a mistake to build our offense around him. The focus needs to be QB going forward.

    • He made some excellent throws but he always has made some excellent throws here and there. I don't know what to think, which is what I was apprehensive about. Is he going to have a decent downfield game? Because okay Legette dropped one, but someone was giving stats prior to the bye or during it where he had two downfield completions and one of them was the jump ball that is just launched and fingers are crossed that our guy comes down with it, and yesterday we saw that again. The Russell Wilson school of downfield passing.  I don't feel like that is sustainable, but at the same time you have to do Something to make the defense understand they have to defend that downfield throws. Like i said, confused.  I guess I'm going to review the game for myself and look closely at his mechanics and stuff because if he actually fixed that stuff it explains the better throws. And that has been my biggest objection, or what I see as the thing that makes or breaks his chances, that unorthodox dropback and tippy toe action and not having his feet set which limits velocity etc etc.
    • The negative Nancy in me (or objective?) says that they had a bye week to prepare for the Chiefs. However, it’s one thing to have a good plan and it’s another to actually execute it. For all the flack he’s received (from me as well), Bryce seemingly has put his head down and worked his tail off and his play is giving me hope. The first 18-game Bryce showed no progression whatsoever. He gets benched, comes back, and has shown steady progress every week he has started. I think I’m starting to see what the Bryce lovers and unconditional defenders were saying all along, and I hope he can show that on a regular basis for the sake of our QB1 position.
    • Yeah, we could still very well end up 4-13 with the 2nd pick.   I think LVR has the inside track for 1, with only a JAX team as a team on docket that could be beatable.
