Wilks may seriously be trying to win this job but the fact he really has his hands tied to Mcadoo calling his offense with the likes of Walker, Darnold, and Mayfield playing QB is going to make it near impossible.

Eh I'm not holding my breath. We are a very bad team that just gutted their HC and DC. Also let's be honest Wilks wasn't even that great of a DC.

More than likely he will. Might take this defense a few weeks to see some new schemes. This is normally why they fire HCs on a bye.

I was wrong about him and his version of that D scheme was college level vs what the 49ers run. 

I bet Wilks had some fun today. Good for him, he got a raw deal in AZ.
