.695 NFL win percentage is higher than Sean Payton and not far off from John Madden.

He is from and IS meant for the NFL. Get him while he's still interested (interviewed last season).

BUT the question is ... if we hired Harbaugh and Corral was the QB ... could you possibly not be a trolling nuisance on here? 😉

Also, I say this knowing it might be met with some hostility, but I want a minority hire for both OC and DC if possible.

I think it's the dumbest rule ever, but there is a significant advantage to hiring minorities in those positions if they're good enough to get an HC job at some point in the near future now that you get draft picks when they get stolen from you.  I believe having an OC or DC getting hired as an HC gets you a 3rd round pick in the next draft, and we badly need to get some more picks in that range given how many we've been trading away over the years.

I don't want to make any hire based solely on that, but if there are good enough candidates there, I think the potential upside a few years later is worth the shot.

Not at all. I'll be well satisfied watching real and actual football.

Harbaugh is a former QB so Corral would be in a very good situation.

If not Harbaugh if fear for the kid.

I have to assume these are the top 5 names as of right now. Obviously ton can change until the end of the season but I think I would be happy with 4 of these 5 (don't want a Falcons reject). I'm assuming Sean Payton isn't actually in play here but if so he's gotta be your #1 target.

Tired of hiring coordinators and waiting for them to grow into the position. If they are out there I want an ex nfl head coach who can step in and help us win right away instead of years down the road.

No doubt Tepper is keeping an eye on the Steelers to wait and see the fate of Tomlin. That’s the guy that makes the most sense. I’d also take Flores or Ryans along with an up and coming OC.  It sure who either of them would bring (don’t want Canada; not sure who’s in SF).

Dorsey and Johnson are top OCs but not really sure if they are HC material quite yet. I think if we do wait until the end of the year on Tomlin, Dorsey and Johnson will have more tape to evaluate.
