Keep all recievers bring in NONE

This is what Delhomme has done, set us back. How can the panther's possibly evaluate gametime playmakers/talents with a QB like Delhomme? Guess who the only QB the defense scrimmages in full pads before game time? Jake Delhomme. Think they have it bad for not being able to get prepared? Just think about our receivers! I think a lot of our receiver's got flat out robbed this year and more than deserve another year.

So to all those who say get rid of Smith, Jarett, Rosario, ETC and bring in a nice WR or even bring in another great besides smith, I say wait it out, there is no reason to do so. We have a 2nd rounder already with experience who just hasn't had a QB. None of these guys have! Not to mention, they have all ran great routes and gotten open only to be Delhommed over and over.

I say spend the cap money any where else BUT receivers and keep the same team. My, what kind of talent we will begin to uncover with a new QB.

It's not that I don't want another star receiver to brought in with Smith but I would rather spend the money and get an extra fancy QB in here. With a great QB, you really don't need star receivers, instead they all just need to be utilized. That is how successful teams are built today, there is only one (if that) star reciever but everyone is utilized (saints, vikings, colts). Don't stack a team, instead get a head mastermind and greatness will follow. Its proven. And with our running backs, it'd be unstoppable.

As I said really, it's all about putting next years money where it needs to go. Drafting a nice WR to work on is ok...for Moose, cause drafting is relatively cheap, but like I said after watching panthers QBs for so many years I want the real deal, but it will cost a price. It's all about the money...

yeah you dont need a star #2 but we do need at least a capable #2..Something we dont have.Moose is too old and Jarrett is two slow to be anything more than a #3..

You're crazy if you dont think we at least need an upgrade over Moose. He's too old. We have lacked a true #2 receiver for years. Jarrett has proven that he's not capable of that role. They definitely need to bring in more receivers or at least a capable #2. I think we are set at TE though.

Remember Ricky Proehl! Moose could have the same role.

Delhomme has nothing to do with seperation..

I understand your point but these guys (even Smith) are clearly not playing with any emotion and Jake's the reason. Why bust you ass every play knowing the ball will be poorly thrown if thrown at all.

I bet before the year is done we will see a difference even if Moore is just somewhat better. The guys will at least try harder.

Now that Moore is starting every receiver will have a 100 yard day, Smith will catch 10 balls and we will know that all the receiver's faults were on Delhomme.

More realistic scenario. We run the ball all day and give Moore safe short passes until he gains some confidence. Then we decide whether to loosen up the reigns. In any case we will ease him into the situation so that the receivers won't look any better under moore than Jake.
