He seems charismatic, energetic, former nfl player, relatable, young. Doesn’t look like a joke of a guy that should be in one of those movie/cartoon hybrids like Roger Rabbit or Space Jam (Matt Rhule) and plus you have the tangibles, his track record as a great defensive coordinator.

Personally, not a fan. Those 'buddy coaches' rarely do well as a HC. They're too bias and more concerned about being friends with the players rather than their boss. Plus, I think going with an offensive mind would be more ideal. A young, offensive minded guy who will be professional and keep it strictly business. Just my two cents.

The Lions OC didn’t look too good today also. 
Lafluer had Flacco looking good earlier this season.

My favorites are Rich Bisaccia and Don Martindale.

There are lots of good young offensive guys out there (Dorsey, Steichen, Johnson, LaFleur, etc) but I prefer more experience.

There’s a reason if you’re an old coach that you haven’t gotten a head coaching gig yet and it’s probably because you aren’t good enough
