You guys realize CJ was one of 2 guys Rhule wanted on draft night

Boy we’d be throwing up left and right if we drafted him with the 9th pick. What’s even crazier or sillier then I’ve ever seen is not playing people who appear to have what it takes. Does Keith Taylor or Stanley TO still play for us? Because last year we definitely thought we had two you g and upcoming dbs we trade for CJ realize he’s a panic machine and continue to play him why don’t these other guys get as many chances as him?

Yeah he seems to panic when the ball is in the air.

I really liked what we saw in Taylor last year. Which is why I was fine not paying Donte and using that money on possibly Reddick

If Ez is there at #44, I'm stiff arming a nun while running the selection up.
    • my issue is simply, we spent back to back first round picks on essentially 2 guys who are best suited for the exact same role.   So we naturally limiting the roster/build/improvement.  XL was fine or Tmac would be fine for the job.  It's the back to back investment for ideally the same job.  Then you factor in how much that type role should be prioritized in a Bryce O vs other roles.  it's the lack of diversity.  The needs on offense were clear for me going in.  Team needs some quick and YAC play on the O.  That's not Tmac.  Needs playmakers to get the ball out quick to behind the line of scrimmage and over the middle. Tmac will be developing for the role we are developing XL for.   And while you can say, well, you can have two of those guy? Sure.  But I want Baker Mayfield and to be running the Bucs O Canales did there.  But that's not us.  We got Bryce Young.  and Tmac on the surface doesn't check a lot of the dawg boxes.  He doesn't play as his size suggest.  More finesse than physical.  McShay literally uses are own verbage against us.....as in not a dawg.   Tmac requires external motivation.  I still don't see that the Panthers have a big picture vision on O.  They got a pass for the mismatch last year because we all thought Bryce would be done.  They get less of a pass this year.
    • Two years in a row…we took Brooks from them last draft
