Heard the same type of poo with him and Joe Brady and he's already been the scapegoat. Figure it out or both of them can gtfo.

Meanwhile, by far the best offenses we've fielded under Rhule came with Joe Brady at OC.

Joe Brady might ultimately prove to be a legit OC I just think NFL OC was too much too soon for him. He'll get another NFL OC gig way before Matt Rhule lands another NFL HC gig.

No way I could imagine Matt Rhule ever getting another NFL coaching job.

Hell, he's been such a disaster that he might have made it tougher for other college coaches to get pro jobs.

Agreed. I don't ever see him even being considered for another NFL job. And yeah, I think he's going to have to prove himself again at another mid-level college program or a former powerhouse program in shambles before he'll get a shot at a legit powerhouse program or a program actually on the doorstep of potentially becoming a powerhouse program.

Honestly, the fit at Nebraska makes a lot of sense for both parties. Nebraska is a former powerhouse in shambles and Matt Rhule has shown twice that he can drag college programs out of the basement and make them competitive. What he hasn't shown is that he can sustain it or that he can take the step from competitive to legit contender. That combined with his massive flop with the Panthers is why I can't see any big time programs considering him. It's gonna be mid-level programs or complete rebuild programs that will be wanting Matt Rhule IMO.

Would make sense.

Word also is that Arizona State's AD loves former pro coaches.

There's a reason why these coaching mismatches occur.

Matt Rhule doesn't understand pro level football.

His knowledge of the game isn't deep enough to comprehend scheme differences, playing styles, or anything else more layered than good coach / bad coach, good player / bad player.

It's the same reason why when he's asked specific questions, his only answers are things like "we've got to be better", "they've got to step up", "we were ranked this high", etc.

He doesn't get it, and he's not going to.

Yep…and it’s always someone else’s’s fault
