That is a lot for Carolina to overcome. But McAdoo said the team has a plan to combat the 49ers’ elite defensive line.

There’s a combination of things you can do,” he said. “Whether you try to help, or try to spit the ball out, or try to run the ball.”

The Panthers historically, regardless of regime, have never negated the opposing defense's pass rush. Instead, they call for long developing plays and hang the QB out to dry behind a leaky offensive line. I don't expect anything to change this coming Sunday.

"We're four games in."

How many do we plan on taking?  We are 1-3 just under 1/4th of the way into the season, and this was almost certainly our easiest stretch of consecutive games.  Is seven enough?  Ten?  More?

What exactly is training camp and preseason for?  Even teams that use it to actually prepare their players for the games that count (starting at game 1, not game 7, 10, 14, or 17) struggle to get that accomplished.  Those that spend their time playing high school and college mind games are even further behind.  Guess which group we are in?

Has our offense looked prepared for any of our first four opponents?  Maybe the New Orleans game, but was that preparation or the blind squirrel finding the acorn.  We seem to be a haven for coaches who think they are going to outsmart everybody else but wind up outsmarting themselves.....and that starts at the top.

Strangely enough, the best this offense has looked was actually the first game. Starting at the 4:46 mark of  the 2nd quarter, the offensive drives were: TD, end of half, punt, TD, TD, FG, end of game. The offense has not scored more than one TD in another game this year.

You are probably correct on that assessment.  I looked at games where we scored in the first quarter, and we did against New Orleans.  What I forgot was those opening stanza points were put on the board by the defense.  <Sigh>

So, offensively we are yet to look prepared for an opponent this year.

But, "we're four games in."  Of course, the opponents are four games in, too, but I guess that is besides the point.

Do you remember the last 40-ish seconds heading into the half and last 4mins, the hurry up moved the ball better than any other time. With a OC like ben(who over does things), less thinking helps.....plus it was the only time CMC caught passes.

I said that and now this; run the BALL.

Yeah, ok, Cam was brought in to make a impact, he sure did, we scored two TDs with ease, then what?

He was overRhuled and made to split time with Sam.

Cam was brought in to make the impact of getting the fans off their backs for a while.  Rhule even screwed that up.
