I don’t think defensive or offensive minded HC matters if they bring in someone competent to lead the other side of the ball. 
 

Both types of HC’s work. You just need balance. 
 

Ultimately you need a HC with vision, organization, leadership, and enough respect and knowledge to surround themselves with quality coaches.
