New Head Coaching suggestions

As much as I would like Johnson or Steichen, Tepper will probably go with a head coach with prior experience and structure. I still think Tomlin is the most likely candidate. My prediction is Pittsburgh will go 4-13 or 3-14 and they'll mutually part ways to rebuild, and Tepper will give Tomlin a kagillion dollars

Truly sad that four games into a season and were already talking about hiring a new coach. 
 

That being said, I’m going with Tepper on this one. I want someone who has already proven they can win.

I’m not saying Ken Dorsey would not be a good pick for head coach eventually, but he’s literally 4 games into his first year as Offensive coordinator and the real brains behind this offense was already hired away last season. Let’s keep things in perspective.

What’s your take on Eric Bieniemy? Like I said in my post he was my top choice till I read an article about his “interview” issues last offseason.

I’d take Tomlin. Not my first choice but could do much worse than him.

Y’all know Tepper Hated Tomlin and petitioned the Rooneys to fire him. Tepper was a minority owner and basically had no say at the time.

I think Harbaugh would make the team instantly better.  But he would wear out his welcome in 3-4 years, and I am not sure he would be great at developing a young qb, assuming we draft one.

He did pretty damn well with Kaepernick, who absolutely sucked ass after he left. 

 

Harbaugh is my #1 choice, Payton #2.

Whoever our future HC is, I think it has to be an offensive minded HC. The NFL is an offensive and scoring league! Even if our defense is trash, I can not watch another offense like this. Watching a poor offense is worse than a poor defense.

He did well at getting the most he could out of Kaepernick, not sure that is the same as developing him. 

But I wouldn't be opposed to the hire, and I am certainly not a fan of Harbaugh.
