Plenty of justified doom threads to kick it around in, so here's a positive one!

Eddy has been one of the few bright spots on the team.  Drilled the 54 yarder yesterday.  I miss the days when I thought Zane's injury might be a problem for the team.

Eddy had his struggles as a rookie, but he's been rock solid ever since. Since Week 12 of the 2019 season, he's gone 27 for 27 on FGs and 25 of 27 on XPs.

I'll kick off my response by saying, I'm glad you tee'd this up.  It's a good goal to find the positives, but definitely ballsy on the Huddle.  Thanks for not dropping the ball on it.

There was a time the thing we struggled with most was finding an adequate kicker. Now the ONLY thing we don't struggle with is finding an adequate kicker.

Caught some of the Commander game on RedZone yesterday and was not the least bit surprised to hear that Joey Slye is still kicking for Ron. I don’t wish that on anyone.

The one singular aspect of NFLing this crew has proven proficient at is finding competent kickers. That ain't gonna get you far but I guess it's something.

There are bright spots.  Pineiro has been pretty much money in the bank.  Hekker has been good, and perhaps is our best passer.  Brown is asserting himself on the DL.  Luvu has been in beast mode.  Horn has looked like he will be a lock-down corner.  The OL seems to be improving.  There are others.

But, we are a little like a car that ought to drive okay, has some great features, but the blasted computer that controls it all is utterly worthless and prevents anything from functioning at even a respectable level.  It is just the stench of the brain trust overshadows them.
