i'd love to see us go after kevin walter, jason avant, and chris henry.

they aren't the only ones but the should be somewhat affordable and would help out a lot.

As well as Aaron Kampman if Peppers dose not want to be here. He might not be a big name but he has a high motor.

Sign Chad Pennington and draft a good young QB. We have an OL as good or better than the Dolphins did, we have running backs that are better, our WRs are obviously better. Get a new coach in here to come up with a suitable scheme and we'd be in the playoffs in 2010.

Jason Campbell!! then draft a QB in rd 2 or 3, then even draft another QB in 2011.

Campbell is mobile, and has a good arm. Part of his problem in DC is about 5 different O-Coordinators in the past 6 years. Campbell will be able to run the Panthers offense and hit Smitty downfield. He will also give the franchise time to groom a younger QB. Of course nothing will work as long as Fox is here. So you need to bring in Holmgren or Shannahan and Campbell will do well here.

Jason Campbell? Jason Campbell?! Jason...Campbell?!!:smilielol5:

And what do you suppose the Panthers do about their QB position?? I dont care what Moore does in these last five games they still need to bring in QB's. I am not in favor of trading Smith or Stewart as some propose and unless some team will give a 1st for Peppers then we are looking at no better than a 2nd round QB. If the Panthers had Campbell they would have at least 3 if not 4 more wins. They dont lose to Buffalo, Miami, Jets and probably Dallas.

So Campbell's problem is that he has had 5 different OC's in 6 years? However, putting him on a new team with a new OC is going to fix all of his problems? That is beautifully flawed logic.

That is a good point, but he has shown skills and will be having a new OC no matter what. Read the post above and he is a good gap filler while the team fills the roster with hopefully draft picks of QB's. I am not in favor of trading to get back into the first round, unless its Peppers.(that I know is a whole other discussion.) I think this Panther teams has at least 3 or 4 more wins this season if they had a QB of at least some talent compared to the crap we have had this season. If Campbell was the QB the Panthers beat Buffalo, Miami, Jets and the Cowboys - and the Panthers would be 8-3 or 7-4 right now.
