I'm seeing Walker in many, if not MOST, of the more recent mocks for the Panthers. Here's my problem, He's not a tackling machine and that's what you want out of an ILB. He's a 'tweener. Are we playing him inside or outside? Sack production is 'meh' for the outside, not so much a QB terror and inside he's not a ball hound. This is culminating to be a typical Panthers pick. You see how 'tweeners end up here with the mismanagement of Jeremy Chinn. -

Yes, this same logic could also be used for every player on our roster and practice squad. I wouldn't include basically any of them in the "potential core player" category as I basically outlined it. I don't see him that way because he was a rotational player and I am not sure he will be more than that here. If I am wrong and he really flourishes here, great. That contract will make a lot more sense and I will have more faith in Dan & Co.
