The last time I watched a pro bowl was when Jake broke the QB skills competition records. That's been awhile.

nobody watched the skills competition, that’s why they stopped doing it-because it isn’t interesting for fans.

if I wanted to watch the combine I would just watch the combine.

100% in for this.  Pro Bowl should be for the Best of each team... and a skills comp allows them to show off and earn true bragging rights, and flag football is just fun. 

Plus a minimal amount of injury potential compared to a full-pad game

It was already a flag football game, except when Sean Taylor was in it.

I've seen flag football games between sixth graders that generated more excitement and competitiveness than the last few Pro Bowls.
