Can you believe that Phil "5am 100 push-up" Snow is better at fielding a defense than Ron "so what Snow, look at my chest" Rivera... last 3 years DC Snow >>> DC RR

Team would win 10+ games if the O just averaged 27 per.....its not that hard given the current rules....

Seriously if the O could just get 2 tds a game.

This team has never had a problem beating sub. 500 teams. I will give him and Rhule props when they beat actual winning teams.

The only reason I give him props is that he didnt just let them do the dink and dunk and let them comeback and win. Ive seen that way too much. Play soft dont let nothing by you,  give them the underneath stuff. Today, we pressured and made Winston uncomfortable after we gave up 2 tds and adjusted to be more aggressive instead of dink and dunk.

It's the same scheme we have ran the past two weeks. Only difference and something the announcers brought up was that we were playing a very banged up Winston. He could barely make throws today.

Na Winston always been a Int machine. He delivered some nice throws in tight spots. He may have been hurt but he played like he normally does

And I dont know we have lost 9 straight and havent won at home in a year.

I'm betting we win 4 games this year. Two to the Falcons and two to the saints. We might pick up two more with the Broncos and a resting Bucs team but they haven't looked the best and might be fighting for position.

Yes he has been but his mobility and zip was noticeably worse. They really must not trust Dalton because he was the healthy QB.

The Panther announcers in the Post game show called out the scheme as being different.  Jake Delhomme mentioned it.  More pressure on the runners and the qb.

Yea thats unless a miracle happens with this offense. McAdoo has to do better with his play calling. Offense is horrible. Literally every week we have one big play that keeps us in the game. Week 1 Robbie deep pass, week 2 it was a big CMC run. This week it was Shenault. If we could get atleast some consistency I think we could win more.

Phil Snow had the defense ready today. Granted they got some long passes and Olave killed us but the adjustments to blitz and use creative designed stunts to confuse Winston and put pressure on him to get rid of the ball allowed us to seal the W. We need more of that, especially on 3rd and long. Offense is still garbage and needs to pick it up but kudos to shenault for his 103 yards and TD on 1 drive. Made Bakers stats look real deceptive.

Passing offense wasn’t very good, but we ran for 145 and controlled the whole game. We were the better team and it was obvious. Our record is 1-2, BUT we are 2 55 yard plus FGs away from being 3-0. It’s still early and we won today. fug it, I’m drunk lol

    • i think i go in the opposite direction of most. my ideal retirement is living in some old downtown area in a flat above some shop or something.  life out in the country was just something i got real tired of. My kids actually miss some of living out there, which i understand. that was where they grew up for the most part. 40 acres with a 2.5 acre pond. it was beautiful, but also way too much (and too expensive) for me to keep up with.
    • FLASHBACK: I remember back when ESPN was just starting--he was their anchor.  They used to show stuff like Rodeo and field hockey--I remember laughing when he went to a commercial mocking a cycling competition in Utah (or something similar--I made that up) and I laughed.  I told my dad, "We may have us a new anchor when we get back from commercial."  When they came back from commercial, Berman was looking very serious and he said, "Any comments by me do not reflect the views of ESPN....The men and women who cycle are dedicated athletes and we are honored to shine light on their sport." (Paraphrasing).  Dad laughed hysterically. My first memory of him--and that was like 1980.
    • Might not have a team without them. Although that probably applies to the Panthers, too.
