Was it Smith's fault

I keep hearing that the 1st int of the game against the Jets was Smith's fault. Do you think that Smith ran the wrong route. Personally I think that Delhomme was trying to get rid of the ball by throwing it near a defender as to not get an intentional grounding call. If that's not the case and Delhomme was targeting Smith on a route, wether the route was ran right or not, the ball was thrown at his feet! Smith plays lights out play after play, at a high speed of play. There's no way he would've caught the ball, even if he would've ran a curl route. Why are people taking up for Delhomme's poor play? This is not the first time I've heard that Smith ran the wrong route, although the first time he did break his route, but Jake is experienced enough to where he should've seen that. There's no other way to put, Jake is playing like crap, and should've been benched a long time ago. Hopefully we don't lose Smith over Delhomme's poor play. What do you think!

The biggest problem I saw, was that before every snap Jake was running around changing plays and the ball was consistently getting snapped on the very last second on the play clock. This seemed to happen almost every play. The offense looked very disorganized and not on the same page.

It's jake's fault for taking too long, trying to do too much, and throwing a bad ball.

It's smith's fault for running the wrong route.

It's the coaches' fault for allowing the offense to be run like that.

There is plenty of blame to go around.

Wrong route or not, that ball was thrown at his feet. Not very catchable. I think if it was a wrong route, the ball would have either been overthrown or hit Smitty in the back.

Completely disagree

That ball happened to land at his feet due to the particular depth smitty was at, at that time. Had smitty stopped and turned a few feet back, that ball would have been between the numbers. It all depends on what route he was supposed to run. Jake is supposed to throw that ball BEFORE smith is expected to break for the ball..if he does not break, then the ball will look ridiculously under/over thrown. In either case, Delhomme needs to be benched due to obvious reasons, but hardly due to THAT interception.

In regards to your signature, saying something is a "non-verbal middle finger", isn't exactly the smartest way to convey your point.
