No, fans don’t have your back no matter what.

again, the Rhule era has brought back in the mentality Cam tried to kill.   And like Cam or not Cam, had the same the right mentality about winning, fans, BOA, etc.

Granted there's no full context from the original tweet provided, but it sounds to me like he doesn't want real fans in the stands that will and should hold him and the team accountable. Sounds more like he just wants to see sheeple out there.

Sorry Rob, that's not how the world works. You get paid to do a job, and when you don't do it to the satisfaction of those who (indirectly) pay you, you face criticism. Get used to it or find another job.

Your coach is 10-25 and 3-9 in the division. If you want to talk then start first with acknowledging your own mistakes because you have had a key role in the losing and you have had no problem whatsoever tweeting like you're the face of the franchise. Talk up your team and motivate not only the fans but yourself and your teammates in the process. Or just keep doing what you're doing and confirm to everyone watching just how soft and spoiled you and this team have become.

There was one game in our lowest-of-lows years where the stadium was basically empty. I was 11 rows up from the goal line, Panthers bench side, and there was no one in my section in front of me. Goal line stand to prevent the Colts from scoring. I'm yelling, "Don't go backwards! Hold the line!" over and over. Colts score. As the guys were coming off the field, I yelled at them, "How does it feel to know that you didn't just play the best you could?" Chris Harris (safety, #43) stopped and looked at me. I saw such sadness on his face and in his eyes that I then and there vowed to never boo the team. The pain was palatable, I could feel it, from Harris to me. They are human beings after all.

With that said, these ain't the Olympics where much more is at stake. Country pride after all. Booing is unacceptable although world politics have crept in the arena. Fans have every right to express their emotions and opinions even if it includes booing.

I'd prefer to say that our fans are HONEST.  I remember how loud BoA can get when the team is giving it their all.  I'm not talking about 2015 when things were just completely off the hook.

I'm talking years like 2011 when we had a rookie QB giving it everything he had every week.  We ended up 6-10, but we didn't feel cheated or let down by our team.  They gave us everything they had and we loved them.

Show the fans how much it means to you by not making stupid mistakes.

Show me players that care the way Jake Delhomme, Mike Rucker, Muhsin Muhammed, Julius Peppers, Kevin Greene, Lamar Lathon, Nick Goings, Brad Hoover, Mike Minter, Sam Mills, Jonathan Stewart, Cam Newton, Steve Smith, Ricky Proehl, Dan Morgan, Luke Kuechly, Thomas Davis, Richard Gross . . . so many former Panthers who we KNEW were giving it all for us.

The only players on this team I really get those vibes from are CMC and Chinn.  Luvu is making strides.

Robby, the fans know.  We KNOW when you are really giving us everything.  And for those teams and players, we will have their backs.  For this mostly lame bunch, I have nothing but contempt.

And I blame Rhule for all of it.  He purged too many veteran leaders who could have taught these guys what it meant, how to do it.  I'm not saying we didn't need to trim some fat - we did.  But we cut too deep and the team lost it's identity.

You can see it in Chinn.  He wants to be another Thomas Davis.  Luke Kuechly.  Mike Minter.  It's there.  Unfortunately, we have no one on the team to show him how.

I really like Robbie, but I aint with him on this...  if you've ever played sports, it's part of the game, period.  You accept that.  Don't want to get booed?  Don't play like poo.  It's pretty simple.  Now, in this instance I have a little more empathy for the players because it's about 95% the coaching ad to the reason they're playing like poo.  Tough spot to be in...  hopefully Wilks takes control in a week or two and we turn it around, but Rhule will prolly be here until at least week 12.

This is an individual who fumbled and led directly to points that beat us....he's not any good and is a classic case of a player getting paid to suck a coaches Dck then take his money and check out a long with his effort.
The fact that he even got p aid is as Panther a thing as can happen and the morale hit it has as well. Like with DJ Moore being great friends with Curtis and I know that DJ is sitting there like they paid that fool over our guy Curtis lol....ppl know even the coaches now getting into it with Snow.

Obviously this affects play even if we say it shouldn't, we're all humans and ppl see this type of poo for what it is. Either way a snitch is a snitch and that's the type of dck rider RA is. Tow the company line guy

    • What I really learned here is that the Carolina Panthers aren't anywhere near as bad as I initially thought they were earlier this year.  We've got a young and growing offense with some promising parts. But it still needs some tweaks and improvements.  We really still could still use a dominant #1 WR. But Chubba,  Legette, Coker,  and J.Sanders have generally looked decent. Bryce took a big leap after the benching. We can score enough points to keep pace with 2x defending super bowl champions, so offense isn't a huge issue. Main thing that needs improvement is defense. We sorely need a CB 2, and a number of new players at Dline and LB.  We're not quite as bad at edge with Wonnum showing promise.  But we definitely need 1 or 2 more edges Clowney is old.  Run D is probably worse prevailing theme these past couple years. We really need a good young stud or two to pair with Derrick Brown and another LB to pair up with Trevin Wallace. If Morgan and Canales can focus on rebuilding the defense this off-season and possibly going out and getting a #1 WR. This team could easily be somewhere around 7-10 to 10-7 and flirting with playoffs in 1 or 2 seasons. Overall this game has made me feel alot more positive about the direction of the team.
    • With our picks we need pass rush, lb, Safety, a speedster yac wr, o line depth and I still want a mid round qb. We got 9 picks and 8 in the first 5 rounds. If they pull Off another solid draft we be cooking.
    • We had one passing touchdown against the Giants and one passing touchdown against the Chiefs today. Yes a good backup can replicate that. And that is why Andy Dalton in significantly less games has the same number of 30 point outings as Bryce Young. I am on board with you guys about wanting to be hopeful for the future. Today was a good performance to build on especially at home. But let's please keep things in perspective. BTW the Bucs who honestly aren't even that good blew the doors off the Giants today after we went to overtime against them with 17 points. Again. Perspective.
