I will say this, the Tepper wanting Sean Payton stuff is more agent fodder than actually truth.

No shet…I think he will be our next coach.  It won’t be Dallas IMO.  He isn’t interested in that.  Just a feeling but hiring him doesn’t fix everything immediately.  We have to fix QB or he will be another failure with a big payday

Gruden to Tampa is the only real comparison. Two first round picks. Not sure what, if anything else was involved, but the top of the deal was the first round picks. One was not good enough. Handing over that kind of capital, to a division rival no less, seems to be a very dumb move.

You might be right. I can't recall if it was 2 years since that was the balance of his contract. Either way, I don't like the idea of giving them 2 firsts if that's what the expectations are to get it done.

Tepper bought Rhule's BS. I could see us trading the No. 1 overall pick to NO and they draft the next Brady. Would totally fit this regimes MO.
