He's a pretty basic downhill runner with mediocre vision and below average agility.

Those are dime a dozen traits at the NFL level. Our previous journeymen backup RB's(and current) are much better players.

Wouldn't argue that.

I'd almost say he's more suited to be a fullback but he doesn't have the size for that and I don't know that he's that great a blocker.

The textbook definition of a replacement level player.  Anyone you pull off the waiver wire is going to be about the same.
